Reclaim Collective is a harm reduction-based organization and social enterprise in Canada, founded by longtime activists, outreach workers, professionals, drug policy nerds, and harm reductionists with lived experience. We’re committed to advocating for transformative change in drug policy and supporting individuals and communities through compassionate, evidence-based approaches. Our work emphasizes dignity, health, and human rights for people who use drugs.

• Consulting & Training: Custom workshops for organizations, healthcare professionals, and businesses; facilitation; and public speaking focused on harm reduction and related topics.

• Harm Reduction Education Webinars: Online webinars to deepen understanding of harm reduction, stigma, trauma-informed care, and drug policy.

• Research / Research Support: Assistance with collaborative writing projects, and event/conference support, grounded in lived experience.

• Outreach Support: Practical assistance and strategic guidance for organizations and frontline workers engaging with community members who use drugs.

• Advocacy & Policy: Working to shift harmful drug policies and promote safer, more equitable systems rooted in community care.

• Event Planning Including Harm Reduction and Safety Protocols: We assist with in-person events and planning—such as conferences, days of action, and other harm reduction gatherings—with advance notice. Our support includes safety planning, logistics, and centering lived experience in every step of the process.

Harm reduction is at the heart of everything we do. This means valuing the health, autonomy, and safety of people who use drugs, and pushing back against systems that create or worsen harm. We prioritize trauma-informed approaches and support collective wellness, always aiming to reduce the harms of criminalization, stigma, and systemic violence.

We work on a contract basis and are available for both one-time engagements and longer-term collaborations. Our availability varies, and we recommend reaching out early for event planning or project inquiries. Rates differ depending on the scope of work—presentations and training differ from research or writing contracts—so feel free to contact us for specifics.

Yes. We reserve the right to decline unsafe or exploitative work, whether individually or collectively. Many of us have experienced tokenization, relived traumatic events for audiences, or worked without adequate support. We prioritize our own mental health and collective care as much as we advocate for others.
